Not long ago, this cornfield was home to nothing more threatening than the scarecrows planted among the crop.
All that changed virtually overnight, when an exiled doctor and a squad of engineers and psychiatrists built a new breed of testing facility: the Nightmare Containment Units! NCUs were to be The Doctor’s crowning achievement after years of ridicule for his outlandish ideas and brutal testing methods.
But after the first NCUs went operational, the machine started to malfunction. Unwilling to accept failure, the Doctor vanished into the bowels of this Nightmare Machine, intent on studying humanity’s most base and primal fears! Now, the remaining team moves forward with the Doctor’s wishes, despite that the nightmares are leaking out into our world…
